A figurehead in the Canadian queer comedy scene that uses a combination of dark comedy and aggressively honest story-telling to engage audiences across the country.
Biography
Rachel Matheson (She/They) is a Humber College Comedy Writing and Performance graduate with over 12+ years experience as a Stand-up Comedian, Writer and Producer. She began her career in the deeply competitive Toronto Stand-up scene and since 2020 has been a fixture in the PEI comedy scene. Workshopping and sharing the stage with some of the most promising upcoming voices and Canadian Comedy legends, their vast experience and unique and slightly jarring styles keeps audiences captivated.
