Biography
Will Wright is a self-taught independent filmmaker from Charlottetown, PEI. His career began at the age of 17 with his first official short “Psychology of Demons”, which went on to receive recognition from various film festivals and even won several awards. In 2023, he released “Deviltown”, a feature-length psychological horror movie made without any funding, on a $0 budget. It would go on to play in several film festivals outside of Canada, such as the Vesuvius Film Festival in Italy, and the Sin City Film Festival in Las Vegas, where it won best horror film.
Today, he still continues to make movies independently, driven by a deep rooted passion that goes all the way back to his earliest conscious memories. He’s always known he was going to make movies, and nothing was going to stop him.
