Biography

Originally from Georgetown, PEI, I moved to Charlottetown in 2016 and studied Chemistry and Biology for two years at UPEI before ultimately deciding to take a break from school to work and travel. In 2019 I decided to go back to school and study the arts. I applied to the Graphic Design course at Holland College and studied there for two years, graduating from the program in May of 2022. During my time as a student I also worked part time with CreativePEI as a designer as well as a server and barista at Leonhard's Cafe in Charlottetown. After graduation I immediately began working with CreativePEI full time as their Lead Graphic Designer and Digital Content Coordinator. One of the biggest projects I have worked on to date is helping to create this Creative Portfolio for artists across the island! Some other recent projects I've worked on is designing an election campaign for Philip Brown in 2022, creating magazine spreads for Real Estate Clients to showcase homes for sale, Conference/Event Designs (The Creative Well-Being Initiative and the Good Project), Book Covers, Logos and branding for various clients and small businesses, as well as Packaging design and a mini rebranding for Fuel Your Body. I love taking on new and exciting challenges, and I am so thankful to have a career in a field I genuinely feel passionate about.
