Becca Griffin (SHE/THEY), or Becca the Witch, is a local creator/performer who produces content for all ages. From a very young age, Becca has been building characters and giving them life. Only within the past five years has she begun to study the art of puppetry more seriously, with the love and support of their inner child. Becca is also a professional actor, on stage, on screen, and really enjoys doing voiceover work. Another great joy in Becca's life is teaching these skills to children and youth by facilitating workshops and after school classes.
With the help of her friends, Becca has created and presented their very own puppet show, "Catching Fish," which is only the beginning of Becca's magical unfolding in this industry. She's been a member of the River Clyde Pageant community since 2020, taking apprenticeships with them in puppet building, participating in the pageant as a performer, and presenting "Catching Fish," at the Sharing the Field festival (Autumn 2022). Becca also began her very own theatre for young audiences company in 2014 called The Cat's Pajamas Theatre Co. Becca has acted professionally with many organizations across the island making her debut in 2014 at Victoria Playhouse. Becca's break into voiceover work was as the narrator for Saving Glenaladale, a doc series by Beachwalker Films Inc on FibeTV1.
