About Our Organization
Charlottetown Burlesque is a group of people who take great pride in entertaining, educating, and inspiring our community. We aim to embrace the beauty of self expression through the art of burlesque, while empowering audiences to celebrate and explore sexuality. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming space to our audiences and fully encourage their involvement in our shows through hootin’ and hollerin’ (while keeping their hands to themselves). Through community collaboration and performance, we work to break down the barriers and stigmas around sex, sexuality, and the bodies in which we live.
