Description
From an early age, Ruth discovered her love of sewing and knitting, and throughout the years she has expanded her skills and aesthetic. Her quilting work spans all sizes, from intricate wallhangings to large bed quilts. She prefers non traditional bright and bold patterns and colours, and often designs her own quilts. Ruth gets her inspiration from nature and music, primarily the beautiful PEI landscape, beaches and sky. Ruth works in her home studio in Eastern PEI. Her works are held in collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia. She is a juried member of the PEI Crafts Council, Artisans Waterfront, and Artisans on Main Souris, and some of her works are available at these locations.
