Artist Statement
"Art is anything you can get away with" I agree with Warhol & I think that good art makes you feel something Be that joy, anger, good art makes you feel. I paint the world how it looks in my mind. I create under the sea sculptures out of treasures hoarded, lost and found. Things I knew I would most deffo want later . Including rubbish from our beaches I paint and make record bowls out of vinyl records I spraypaint as well Anything not moving I paint
I also dance, write, and create AI art with my husband
Biography
I am a CFA from Alberta who married an Islander & have been here 16 years This is where I first started creating art and it has grown and evolved I have been in the Summerside Arts Festival for 12 years and have been featured for the 90 days of fame at the Lefurgy center I am self taught I also create AI art with my husband I am a dancing lass as well, I spent every summer at the Calgary Folk Fest, since I was 15 and learned how to dance in front of 7000 people I am now in my mid forties but can still move like water flowing over land
