Description
Gloria Wooldridge is a self-taught watercolour plein-airist from PEI, whose work reflects her love for the Island’s natural beauty and vibrant colors. She incorporates ink into her work, creating unique, whimsical, happy pieces.
She is part of a local plein air group, the Group of Five, PEI, and can often be found exploring and painting on location, visually capturing the energy of the towns, harbours, and lighthouses of PEI. Her art, tailored to PEI’s tourism industry, offers visitors beautiful visual keepsakes as a reminder of their time on the Island.
Gloria’s art has been displayed in galleries in PEI and New Brunswick, and her pieces are part of private collections worldwide.
She has developed an “Art for the Health of It,” art curriculum, promoting creativity as a tool for wellness. Through art coaching and workshops, Gloria hopes to inspire others to create art to relieve stress and foster well-being.
