About Our Organization
Ch'town Zine Fest (CZF) was founded in 2022 by Jordan Beaulieu and Evan Furness in order to support and promote local artistic publishing practices. It includes a tabling fair, held annually in early November at the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre, and a coinciding series of free events, such as instructive workshops. CZF is an independent project and often partners with local community venues and arts organizations.
The Ch’town Zine Library is an extension of the project focused on collecting and archiving local DIY publications. Over thirty new titles were acquired from fair participants in 2022. During Summer 2023, the library is on public display at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery.
