Artist Statement

My work is rooted in realism and shaped by a focus on the meaningful moments of everyday life. Working in watercolour, acrylic, encaustic, and oil, I choose each medium for the mood and texture it brings to the subject. Composition is central to my practice; the balance of form, light, and space guides how each piece is experienced. Through thoughtful observation and intentional design, I create paintings that serve as personal narratives—capturing stillness, transition, and intimate detail with honesty and care.
