About Our Organization

The museum is housed in the Keir Memorial Presbyterian Church, built in 1927. The collection of artifacts shows the history of commerce, shipbuilding, fishing, agriculture and the cultural life of the residents in the Malpeque area since 1770. These artifacts include memorabilia and furnishings from local homesteads, farming, blacksmithing, oyster fishing implements, a working mud digger on site and an 1887 horse-drawn hearse.
