Artist Statement
I moved to PEI in 2020, hoping to find a piece of heaven for my creative mind... It worked. I absolutely love this island, the atmosphere, community, people, and the landscapes. It has inspired me to do something that many artists encouraged me to do over the years: create my own company called 2.11 seconds.
It is an entertainment company with a focus on unique, absurd, quirky, funny, and harrowing stories across all mediums, with film being the current focus, with hopes of expanding into games, interactive content, and more.
Biography
With a proven track record of innovative leadership, I have excelled in executive leadership roles where I have pioneered project workflows, reducing workforce, timelines, and budgets by 15-25%, as well as being a major contributing member of marketing, media, and social campaigns. My experience includes managing budgets from 250K to 18M CAD, notably overseeing multiple 10M+ CAD budgets, integrating company-wide processes across HR, IT, Technology, Marketing, and Finance, and serving as head of operations, along with supervising projects.
I have worked with IT professionals to establish proper working environments for data archiving and organization.
My comprehensive financial management skills encompass managing accounts receivable and payable, tax credit applications, and handling payroll for over 350 employees.
I have years of experience in leadership at an executive level, dealing with multiple avenues of business operations with a primary focus on the film, television, media, digital, and animation industries. These experiences demonstrate my ability to drive efficiency, streamline operations, build lasting communication with the public and clients, and achieve financial goals, which have always led to overall company growth at all my previous employers.
