Artist Statement
My goal as an artist is split down two paths. The first is about becoming the best performer and artist I can in as many settings as possible. I pride myself on my flexibility as a musician, having experience in jazz big bands, pop groups, my own funk music, as well as various classical ensembles throughout the province.
My second path as an artist is about bringing instrumental music to a new audience. So much instrumental music can be hard to listen to, or be presented in an inaccessible way, and my goal with my own music to break that trend. I strive for fun, singable, melodies with moving harmonies and stories behind every song I write
