Biography
I’m Shaun Patterson, a Canadian multidisciplinary artist, musician, DJ, and children’s book author/illustrator. I blend traditional and digital media, drawing on cultural influences shaped by my travels throughout Asia, a deep love of video games, and a long-standing fascination with art and world history. Music is central to my creative process. As a DJ spinning Reggae, Hip Hop, and Disco, I bring the same eclectic rhythm and energy into my visual work. Inspired by artists like Takashi Murakami, James Jean, and Mr., I aim to bridge the past and the present, playfulness and depth, in everything I create.
