Artist Statement
My work unifies fragmented thoughts, emotions, and experiences through painting, illustration, and writing. I strive for my pieces to be balanced yet expressive tapestries of my subconscious. I hope my work also invites the audience on introspective journey of their own.
I am heavily influenced by the expressionism, surrealism, pop art, myth, magic realism, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Vincent van Gogh, Noah Kocher, Jorge Luis Borges, Cristina Campo, Octavio Paz, and Emili Dickinson. My artistic journey revolves around uncovering truths, emotions, and self-realizations through introspection and the process of creation.
