Artist Statement
Christian has always loved magic. His goal is to share that love with his audience, and to make them feel the wonder and mystery that they never knew existed. He usually performs close-up magic, but can perform for larger audiences if required. Christian has an irrepressible sense of humour and fun, and his performance style reflects that. While he focuses mainly on close-up sleight of hand, he also performs magic from a variety of other genres and styles, such as mentalism, and card magic.
Christian performs primarily for adult audiences, but can accommodate family audiences too.
Biography
Christian became fascinated with magic when he was a child, doing magic shows at his friend's birthday parties, and performing on stage whenever the opportunity arose. As he grew up, he drifted away from magic but never really lost his love for it. Several years ago he decided to get back into it, and to hone his skills to the point where he could perform professionally. Starting by performing at open mic events, he then managed to get a residency in a restaurant. Christian performs for adult audiences. He is a semi-professional magician, delighting diners with close-up tableside magic at Hopyard in Charlottetown every Friday night. He also performs at private parties, weddings, corporate events, and anywhere else where wonder, mystery, and comedy are required. With over a year of weekly performances at the restaurant, and a number of other professional engagements under his belt, he is seeking to build his skills and expand his audience.
