Bideford Parsonage Museum

This historical residence was the home of L.M. Montgomery in 1894-95 during her first year of teaching at the Bideford School. The residence has been carefully restored to accurately reflect life in a rural homestead during the late 19th century. The museum covers three themes overall: shipbuilding; Parsons/Ministers and their contribution to the community; and Lucy Maud Montgomery.
