About Our Organization

The Museum is housed in the old Callbecks store, one of the last of the country stores, which served the general area from 1899 to 1991. Spread over two floors, it displays many items relating to the social and cultural history of the general area, with exhibits on the Acadian and Loyalist settlements of the area, on the culture of the Mi’kmaq, on Callbecks Store, on the Borden ferry service, and on other topics.
